Return Policy

At Platinum Wheels and Tires, we stand behind the quality of every product we sell. Our return policy is designed to be straightforward and fair—5 business days to return, 100% defect coverage, and zero restocking fees.
Unused Product Returns
We accept returns of unused, unmounted products within 5 business days of delivery. To qualify for an unused return:
- Items must be in original, unopened packaging
- Products must be in new, resalable condition
- Original packaging, hardware, and accessories must be included
- Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility
Defective Product Returns
Defective products are accepted within 5 business days of delivery, even if the product has been mounted. Examples of qualifying defects include:
- Balance issues that cannot be corrected
- Weld or casting defects
- Bead seat defects
- Incorrect specifications (bolt pattern, offset, bore)
- Coating or finish failures (peeling, bubbling, discoloration)
Documentation from a licensed tire shop is required to verify the defect. Please include photos and a written description from the shop detailing the issue.
Wrong Item Shipped
If you receive the wrong product, Platinum Wheels and Tires will cover all return shipping costs. We will ship the correct item or issue a full refund, depending on your preference and product availability.

Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return:
- Mounted tires without a verified defect
- Special-order or custom-built wheels
- Items returned after the 5 business day window
- Products damaged by road hazards (potholes, curbs, debris)
- Items missing original packaging
Refund Processing
Once we receive and inspect your return, refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to your original payment method. You will receive an email confirmation when your refund has been issued.
Exchanges
Exchanges are available within 5 business days of delivery. The customer is responsible for return shipping on exchanges. Once we receive the original item, the replacement will be shipped promptly.
Damaged in Transit
If your order arrives damaged, please photograph the damage and contact us within 48 hours of delivery. Include photos of the packaging and the product so we can file a claim with the carrier and resolve your issue as quickly as possible.
Fitment Verification
Customers are responsible for confirming that wheels and tires are compatible with their vehicle before purchasing. This includes verifying bolt pattern, offset, center bore, tire size, and any clearance requirements. Our team is happy to assist with fitment questions before you order.
No Restocking Fees
Platinum Wheels and Tires does not charge restocking fees on any eligible return.
